Chapter 1183  Not Liking This Feeling

Inside the busy casino, there was one man who was sitting down at the blackjack table in a white suit. Visible sweat was dripping down from his head, landing on the floor and almost on the table itself.

“Give me another one,” the man asked.

“Wait… but if you do…” the woman spoke before the man angrily waved her off.

“I know what I’m doing, I’m the one who bought you that bag, didn’t I, so just shut up.”

The dealer handed a card, which was a king.

“Oh, a bust.”

“Damn it!” the man complained as he got up out of his seat and was ready to storm off.

“I haven’t had any luck at all today, something threw me off from the beginning, I know it.”

The image of the young blonde-haired man who had walked past with a smile entered his mind.

“It’s got to be because of that kid, he ruined my day, and started this whole day bad. He really thought he was something, huh? If that kid really thinks he’s something, he should fight me, I would be able to knock him out with just a few hits.”

“I have to say, you talking about beating up a kid isn’t really attractive,” the woman mumbled, but the man was too focused on throwing out imaginary punches in the air.

“Haha, yeah, I would show him what these fists could do, and then he can apologize. He’s some rich kid, right? Maybe I can even get some money from him.”

“And now you’ve just turned into a bully,” the woman sighed. She soon felt something from above crumble onto her hair; it was a bit flakey in a particular area, and when she looked up, she could see the ceiling had a crack.

“Look out!”

Before her words could grab others' attention, the ceiling caved in and broke, and several individuals were seen falling. The bald-headed man had turned as dust had hit him, and he fell on the floor.

While lying there on the ground, he was looking as the dust settled, he could see a single person standing, holding onto something in his hand. Finally, when the dust had disappeared, he recognized the blonde-haired kid with blood dripping down from the top of his head.

“This is not the type of welcome I was expecting,” Kai said, dropping the body onto the ground, and then falling from the ceiling, there were three more standing on the ground. They looked like regular humans, but their bodies started to transform.

Hair growing over their bodies and their size enlarging. As the crowd saw them, they could only point and scream.

“Altered… they're Altered, let’s get out of here!”

Kai, who was standing there, had quickly moved from his position, almost disappearing from sight. When the bald-headed man could see him again, he saw his hand at the back of one of the transformed beings’ heads, and Kai slamming it right into the floor.

The bald-headed man, seeing this, started to feel his trousers getting soaked, and a foul stench coming off from them.

“Alright, I was wrong, I was wrong!” the man said as he got up and ran away soon after.

The transformed beings, they were Werewolves, and they weren’t from the same pack as the one that he was in. Two of them, seeing Kai, had run right towards him, and were charging at full force.

“You know, I was always curious to see how we stacked up against others that were like us,” Kai said. “I thought that we might be too far behind, but I’m starting to think that we might have just overestimated you guys!”

Kai transformed his legs and his arms, and then dashed forward. His hand had pierced right through the chest of the first Werewolf, and he pulled it out quickly. When the second one was upon and behind him, he ducked under it, allowing for the attacks to miss him.

The Werewolf continued to swipe its arms away, continuing to miss Kai each time, until Kai kicked the Werewolf’s arm, jumped up in the air, and swung down, hitting it to the ground. Right after, Kai placed his foot right on the throat of the Werewolf’s neck, pushing down hard.

‘The power I received from eating those from Harvor’s group… including Stanley. I’m fast even without shapeshifting into my werewolf form, and a lot stronger as well. Although Lupus and his group of Werewolves have a large number of years on us, at the end of the day you guys have been hiding, doing what? While we have been fighting non-stop, we don’t even get a break, even now...’

The Werewolf underneath Kai’s feet grabbed onto his leg with both of its hands, and started to twist, using all of its strength.

“I imagine questioning you would be useless. Must have some pack secrets to not reveal your rules, but there is one person that I can ask,” Kai said.

Thinking of this, Kai used all the strength in his foot and crushed the throat of the Werewolf on the ground, killing it on the spot. He looked at the casino that was mostly empty as the general public had run out after what had happened.

“Those Werewolves had jumped out from the other rooms. They were expecting me or someone from the Howlers to come at one point. Maybe to finish some of us off, or slow us down, but now I can be sure that something is up, and that Lupus is involved… but why go after Midwak? I’m not liking this at all… I’m really not liking this. I better find that fake as quickly as possible.”
