Chapter 38 Super body skill
The bones of the reaper looked extremely strong and nimble. To strike them, Xander would have to pinpoint the exact position blindly since the reaper is covered in the dark cloak.
Actually, Xander could defeat the reaper anytime he wants because of his Primordial bind skill but he wants to learn the moves of the reaper so that he can be skilled and strong. And his chance of surviving would be increased by a considerable margin.
"I don't need to strike it's bones anymore. That green crystal must be it's weak point." Xander mumbled as he grilled another round of meat from a giant centipede.

Xander smiled as he saw that he managed to get a stat point today.
"It's been so long since I gained stat points. Seems like I can't get much points from creatures that are of a lower level than me." Xander grunted as he stood up and stretched his limbs.
"Ah. Too bad I can't eat bones." Xander said as he began to walk away from the misty area.
"I have already grasped the technique used by the reaper. I'll need to test it before I actually face it." Xander said as he went to an area where monsters usually come around.
Hearing a loud shrieking sound, Xander hid behind a rock that protruded from the ground and looked in front of him.
His eyes gleamed as he saw an extra large giant centipede. This one was as big as the fly that attacked he and Harry before.
It ate other normal large centipedes which were the size of a sausage in it's hands.
'Must be a level 30 and above.' Xander thought as he clutched his spear tightly and observed the creature more.
The light coming from the tiny holes in the ceiling helped to illuminate the surroundings.
It had a shiny red shell which looked tough and it's body was extremely flexible as the shell pieces were far apart and the gaps were wide enough for a blade to fit there.
It's little orange antennas twitched as it moved again and used it's frontal legs to stab another centipede before gobbling it up.
'Seems like I'm not the only one running out of food in this place.' Xander thought as he fixed his clothes.
The shirt he wore had already torn and dirty and the trouser he wore was dirty as well. He didn't even mind or even dust his butt which got dirty and just carried his spear and walked out of his hiding place.
He walked towards the centipede while stretching and yawning.
'I could just decapitate it with my Primordial binds but... let's test my weapon skills first.' Xander thought as he dashed at the centipede, his spear brandished.
The centipede turned around at a sudden sound and when it looked back it's eyes met that of Xander's and it shrieked loudly before charging towards Xander in opposition.
In Xander's eyes, the centipede wasn't too fast but it's super sharp legs will definitely be a problem for him as he is way smaller than the creature.
The creature took a bite at him to which he just jumped to the side and evaded. The centipede then spun and hit Xander with it's body.
Xander moved back as he was overwhelmed by the size of the creature's body. "I wanted to go easy on you before." Xander said with a smirk and charged towards the creature again.
The creature tried to stab Xander a lot of times but Xander was just too fast. He dodged every attack with precision and accuracy. He was in control of this battle.
'I've grown tired of this creature. Let me test out my spear skills.' Xander thought.
The centipede thought that the man in front of it would probably die just like other creatures in this caves.
As the centipede stuck down with it's legs Xander smiled and waved the spear upwards. The spear and the legs of the centipede met and the centipede's eyes widened as it's legs flew through the air and landed on the floor.
Xander didn't even let the centipede to boot as he began spinning the spear with skill, striking when necessary and spinning to gather force.
The hard shell of the creature even broke before the furious and continuous assault of Xander's spear.
The centipede didn't even last ten seconds before Xander decided to end it and sliced its head off of it's body before stabbing the head.

He then removed the shell and grilled the meat. He used the shell as a plate and put the grilled meat on it to cool down.
"Let me see the skill I got." Xander said and brought up his status screen.

Xander was shocked as he had so much free Stat points to assign. At this rate he was already more powerful than the reaper and could end it anytime of the day.
"Super body huh?" Xander said as he tapped the skill.

Xander smirked, "I really am lucky. The last time I got a skill was when I got the spider sword."
Xander chuckled as he relaxed and ate the meat he grilled. He also smiled wider as he heard the system giving him 1 - 2 points in his stats for consuming the meat.
After resting for another hour Xander stood up and stretched as he went towards the mist area to challenge the reaper for the last time.
