Bai Zhongqi slammed the table and stood up, "Damn it!"

The Bupinga agent also expressed his dissatisfaction to his employer, "Sir, I've reminded you repeatedly, we respect the dietary habits of your civilization, but please avoid doing this in public, as it causes distress to many guests from other planets."

Yet, Ji Meilas, disregarding everything, casually tore off an arm from the now headless corpse, stripped it of its clothing like peeling a sausage, and started chewing on it with a crunching noise, as if eating a skewer of mutton.

"We're all eating, you consume other creatures, how is devouring a higher creature any different? The Primate Clan might be the most hypocritical species in the Galaxy. When it comes to ferocity, we Teizene stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone."

Pale-faced, He Qiu tugged at Bai Zhongqi, fearing the groups might clash here. He whispered into Bai Zhongqi's ear, "It's a strategy of the Teizene, not their first time using this method. They perform this act of eating alive in front of representatives from other civilization's trading companies, intimidating them into making concessions if they are frightened."

Bai Zhongqi knew that while the Teizene might find intelligent life tastier, to other civilizations a cannibalistic culture was clearly more horrifying, which, while tarnishing their reputation, also made them feared.

Ji Meilas, watching Bai Zhongqi's shifting expressions, felt much better. What could this wealthy man do? The Teizene civilization was a terror.

Bai Zhongqi wanted to kill these Lizard People on the spot; with one command, Zero, who was standing by, could use Star Energy and crush these disgusting lizards into a ball. However, Bai Zhongqi couldn't act rashly, as there were still rules on Bupinga Star.

He was unable to overturn the entire rule system of Bupinga Star, especially not with the cohort of High-Level Civilizations present and his army from the First Universe not behind him.

As the Iridium Star Chancellor, Bai Zhongqi felt incredibly isolated in his position.

However, Bai Zhongqi was not one to back down. He sat down again and whispered a few words to He Qiu.

After listening, He Qiu's face, despite its completely different expression system from that of the Primate Clan, became extremely animated.

Bai Zhongqi smiled, his smile tinged with a chill, "Why not?"

Soon after, the casino's kitchen delivered a grill with several skewers, each threaded with several lizard-sized palm-length lizards.

Following the grill into the room, the chef saluted Bai Zhongqi and explained, "Guest, this is one of our signature dishes, although few choose it. It comes from Woodingdale Star, a desolate planet without an atmosphere where lizards survive without breathing. The soil there contains a high concentration of oxides, and Woodingdale lizards obtain sufficient nutrients by consuming these oxides and breaking them down. Their meat is particularly crispy after roasting, and when seasoned properly, it becomes an absolute delight."

Bai Zhongqi thanked the chef with a smile, then picked up a skewer of roasted lizards, crunching one into his mouth and leaving half of its tail hanging out.

Upon seeing this, Ji Meilas's face changed - despite being an intelligent species, the Teizene were fundamentally reptilian lizards, and Bai Zhongqi's act was a clear retaliation against their earlier provocation.

Two of Ji Meilas's minions even rushed for their weapons, and the room immediately tensed. Zero reacted fastest, extending a hand and altering the directional force on them. The original gravity they felt turned into a backward striking force, and they were instantly sent flying.

Enraged, Ji Meilas overturned the table and swiped a claw at Bai Zhongqi.

Bai Zhongqi remained unfazed, signaling Zero to stand down. He deftly avoided the swipe, followed the direction of Ji Meilas's arm, grabbed his huge mouth, and then violently smashed down, slamming Ji Meilas's head onto his flying knee. The impact resounded clearly throughout the room.
