"Yanran, Han Yue, Xiao Yin, let’s head straight to the summit and see if they dare stop us!" Xiao Yi Xian turned away from Jin Shi, signaling the group to proceed toward the peak.

Seeing this, Jin Gu and Jin Shi exchanged hesitant glances, torn over whether they should intervene.

"Clan Leader, these young women act recklessly and without fear. They likely come from a powerful faction. Offending them might bring more trouble than breaking our agreement with the other forces," Jin Gu said cautiously.

"I’ve thought the same. These people must have formidable backing. Knowing our strength, they still show no regard for us," Jin Shi replied with a nod.

"Then, what about the checkpoints?" Jin Gu asked nonchalantly.

"The checkpoints will proceed as planned. That way, we can at least give the other forces an explanation," Jin Shi said after a moment of thought.

As Jin Shi finished speaking, he looked at the retreating figures of Xiao Yi Xian and her companions as they ascended the stone steps. Raising his voice, he warned, "Ladies, there’s a Mouse Tide Soundwave Array set up by our clan above. The more of you ascend together, the stronger its power will be. If you can overcome the array, you’ll reach the summit!"

Xiao Yi Xian’s group paused briefly at the warning, then continued their steady climb.

Around the stone steps, the countless Gold-Devouring Mice opened their eyes, their fur bristling as powerful soundwaves began to emanate. The energy in the surrounding area grew increasingly chaotic.

In response to the incoming waves, Xiao Yin quickly performed a series of hand seals. Moments later, invisible energy barriers materialized around Han Yue and Nalan Yanran.

The piercing soundwaves, now condensed like a storm, surged down from above, aiming to overwhelm Xiao Yi Xian’s group.

Yet, as these overwhelming waves approached within half a foot of the group, they collided with an invisible barrier, causing deafening blasts in the air. The soundwaves, vast and formidable, dissipated entirely before they could reach their targets.

Xiao Yi Xian and her companions continued their steady advance, unaffected and unyielding.

"Spatial power!"

"Someone among them can wield spatial power to such an extraordinary degree!" Jin Shi exclaimed in disbelief. Even he couldn’t achieve such mastery.

During the energy tide in the Tianmu Mountain Range, outsiders with strength exceeding three-star Dou Ancestor typically triggered a backlash from the energy tides. However, if one could isolate their aura using spatial power, they could avoid such repercussions. Achieving this level of spatial manipulation often required countless years of training at the Dou Ancestor level, or even the strength of a Dou Venerate.

Yet Xiao Yin not only shielded her own aura but also provided such formidable protection to the others. It was no wonder Jin Shi was so shocked.

"Thank goodness we didn’t act rashly and cause unnecessary conflict!" Jin Shi’s aged face revealed a trace of relief.

The long stone staircase stretched ahead, yet Xiao Yi Xian's group moved steadily forward. The overwhelming, almost tangible soundwaves that filled every inch of space around the staircase seemed to envelop them entirely. However, Han Yue, Nalan Yanran, and Zi Mo Jiu felt nothing—stepping as if into a silent world.

Before long, the group moved out of Jin Shi and Jin Gu’s line of sight from the mountainside and reached the summit. The golden giant mice guarding the staircase, realizing their soundwaves had no effect, closed their eyes and went back to rest.

The summit of Tianmu Mountain was expansive, dotted with uneven ground and jagged rocks. Xiao Yi Xian and her group paused on a smooth stone platform carved out of a massive boulder. However, despite reaching the summit, they could not see the so-called Tianshan Blood Pool.

Looking up from where they stood, they could see the dense waves of energy tides roiling in the sky. The faint, oppressive energy emanating from them caused an involuntary chill in everyone except Xiao Yin and Xiao Yi Xian.

The multicolored energy tides spread outward in wave after wave, creating a spectacular and awe-inspiring scene.

As they scanned their surroundings, a sharp sound of rushing wind came from the stone staircase below. It was none other than the lecherous elder, Jin Gu, who had followed them up.

"Ladies, the Tianshan Blood Pool is located deeper at the summit. Once you reach it, you may rest for a moment. When the energy reaches its peak, I will bring along two of our clan’s younger members and three others who secured their spots to join you for the next stage," Jin Gu said, keeping his tone humble and respectful as he addressed Xiao Yi Xian and her group.

"Fine, I understand," Xiao Yi Xian replied curtly, waving her hand to dismiss him, signaling that he should stop following them.

"Understood!"

Despite the cold reception, Jin Gu showed no displeasure. He quickly turned and left.

After Jin Gu’s departure, Xiao Yi Xian and her companions advanced under the energy tides in the sky, weaving through the clusters of jagged rocks. Guided by their perception of the energy flow, they climbed to a higher vantage point after seven or eight minutes. What they saw next caused Nalan Yanran and Han Yue to draw in sharp breaths.

Before them lay an enormous volcanic crater. Wisps of hot, fire-poison-laden smoke billowed intermittently from its depths. At the center of the crater was a small pool, only a few meters across. The liquid within was sparse, revealing faint traces of fiery red, like molten lava.

"Yanran, although the energy in this blood pool is abundant, your cultivation hasn’t yet reached the Dou Emperor stage. When you enter the pool later, even with medicinal support, make sure not to push yourself too hard," Xiao Yi Xian cautioned, casting a glance at the energy-rich blood pool.

"Thank you for the reminder, Senior Sister. I’ll be careful!" Nalan Yanran responded with a smile. Her current cultivation had already reached the peak of Dou King. If she absorbed the pool’s energy effectively, she might soon step into the Dou Emperor stage.

"Xiao Yin, since Master mentioned that the Tianshan Blood Pool’s bottom has a spatial barrier set up by the Gold-Devouring Mouse Clan, you’ll need to assist me in entering it later. Afterward, come back and watch over Han Yue, Yanran, and Zi Mo Jiu," Xiao Yi Xian instructed.
